I must confess I was a bit nervous that the purchase might be a bit of a scam but it isn’t! The watch itself is super and as it’s not usually available. it is relatively exclusive.Packaging was perfect and contains all the instructions you might need. The guarantee might be a problem as it has to go back to Singapore for repair but at this price who’s worrying?

However the delivery took 3 weeks and I ended up with a customs and post office charge of £18 pounds, which meant I really could have bought it locally for the same price or slightly less ended up with a full warranty and got it faster. I knew that VAT might have been applied, but not the extra Post office handling charge. as a U.K Customer it would put me off buying again, as the extra charges represented 30% of the price of the watch .

Nice Little Automatic. What a great little watch! It’s easy to adjust the day and date. The face was a little smaller than I expected, but it fits nicely under a shirt sleeve cuff. There’s just something about the sweep of an automatic second hand that’s pleasing to the eye.

I received this watch today and I chose the blue, which I wasnt sure about. It looked light blue in the picture on line. But the face of the watch and the canvas band are both a darker blue which I like. Ive had a more expensive gold Seiko watch that Ive had for 28 years with no problems, so Im expecting good things from this Seiko. This will be my rough watch for camping, hiking, skiing, etc. Very pleased so far.

Nice watch, but vendor lacked care for packaging. The watch was as expected. There were no flaws in function or the case and band. The watch was not packed or padded well and could easily have been damaged. The seiko box was not the box that this model is in from the factory. There was no documentation.

No one has mentioned the numbering on… No one has mentioned the numbering on the dial- the large minutes indicators are on the outside of the dial, while the hours are indicated, smaller, within the circled central part of the dial.
This makes reading the minutes correctly a piece of cake.
I’ll have to have mine adjusted, I gain several seconds/day. That’s my only drawback.
